Intricate handmade silver pendants featuring the Protea, The national flower of South Africa, set in pure 950 silver with an Turquoise from Arizona to finish.
At the back of the pendant the flower of life symbol is featured. The protea flower and the flower of life both represent sacred geometry in its finest.
We collect the protea flowers in the Southern peninsular of the Western cape, After foraging the flowers off the sides of the cape mountains, we then remove the hard petals and shape the wooden heart of the flower.
A timely yet rewarding process allowing us to access the heart of the protea. These pendants offer a connection to our fynbos heritage and make great souvenirs from South africa. Please note due to the nature of the material each piece is unique, and that is what we love about them.
An exquisite handmade piece carefully crafted with precision and passion in our home in Cape Town, South Africa.
