SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPMENT & DELIVERY

Makembaboutique offers both standard and express shipping. International Standard Shipping takes between 15-21 days. DHL Express Shipping takes between 3-5 working days. For South African residents we offer free shipping for orders over R1000.                 

 A  confirmation and tracking number will be emailed to you once your order is dispatched, allowing you to track the status of your shipment. Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Makembaboutique cannot be held responsible for unanticipated delays, breakage or loss incurred during the shipping process.

RETURNS

If you are extremely unhappy with the product, for whatever reason, we will accept returns. We however encourage minimal returns. Please make sure to contact us within 3 days of delivery. All returns are posted back within 14 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. For any return queries please email us at makembaboutique@gmail.com

Because of the nature of these items, the following may not be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale

Please note most of the items are handmade - small imperfections may occur, this is the nature of handmade products, we believe the beauty lies in the imperfections.
